Twitter/Facebook poll questions
Here are the responses to some questions that Mark was asking on Twitter and Facebook in the last week. If you’d like to get in on answering these questions in the future, you can follow Mark on Twitter or friend him on Facebook.
What is your favorite “distraction” while waiting in theme park queues?
- I love watching the faces of the little ones
- My iPhone 3GS! All 3 of us have some sort of iPhone.
- I have bubbles in my bag to keep the kids busy!
- I love looking for hidden mickeys! Some may consider it cheating, but sometimes I use the internet on my cell phone to find clues
- We don’t often need distractions — we make best use of early mornings and FastPasses for short lines!
- talking to the other people in line. You always have at least one thing in common — you love Disney World!
- my kids distract me enough…
- My kids and I start Mooing and see how many other guests we can get to join in. ๐ Really!!
- Short shorts. ๐
- Wmen in their summertime wear
- Talking to you, wondering why in the world we’re waiting in a line??? LOL
- I’m like a little child, so I can stare at tall objects and it keeps me enthralled.
- tweeting and texting
- People watching. You see some weird stuff at theme parks…
- I throw things at small children. And steal @traceland’s snacks.
- By myself, I bring a book to read. With kiddo, Steve Barrett’s Hidden Mickeys book. Or, you know, just talk ๐
- my favourite distraction whilst in a queue is people watching!
- Check for new tweets! Lol
- Lot to choose from but the Muppet pre-show is my favorite “distraction” while waiting in theme park queues.
- enjoying the details in the queues and looking for hidden mickeys.
Mike enjoys listening to podcasts or looking for hidden Mickeys or other queue details.
Mark’s preferred distraction depends on what type of trip he’s on. If he’s on vacation with his family, they’ll talk while they wait. If he’s by himself on a solo trip, he’ll look for queue details, check his email and/or twitter, or engage bystanders in conversation.
Again, if you’d like to get in on answering these questions in the future, you can follow Mark on Twitter or friend him on Facebook.
