January 17-23, 2006 – Disney pulls the new Best Rate program and reinstates the old Annual Pass discounts and Expedition Everest is officially ready for riders.

January 9-16, 2006 – Universal raises prices to match Disney, marathon/half marathon results, Everest testing and other Walt Disney World news.

January 3-9, 2006 – Walt Disney World has implemented new prices for the new year, making it again the most expensive theme park in the United States and annual passholders get an Everest preview as well.
