Tip of the Week
Today’s tip is comes via Twitter from MousePlanet’s Stephanie Wien, who noted that her favorite Outdoor Vending (ODV) snack is the is cinnamon-roasted almonds, which can be found in the Magic Kingdom near Pirates of the Caribbean and in Epcot in Future World near The Land. (Mark noted that the Magic Kingdom location is actually closer to the far side of the Jungle Cruise steps on the main walkway.
Featured Attraction
This week we look at the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. The photos that Mark referred to are in the June 1 Walt Disney World Resort Update. Apparently, he only posted two photos.
Review System Spotlight
This week we take a look at Goofy Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel. MousePlanet readers really like it, rating it 4.0 out of five planets. Our featured review this week is by dizneyz4me of Northern California.
dizneyz4me was slightly disappointed with the reduction in the food selection since her last visit, but everything else was great, earning the restaurant a 4-planet rating.
You can also find Goofy’s Kitchen in our Park Guide.

Listener Feedback
Dan the Light Man called in with another lengthy email, first commenting on his opinion of the usage of Stitch in the theme parks. While he’s a big Stitch fan, he hasn’t been impressed with the usage so far.
He also asked us if we had noticed any changes with the switchover in castle lighting from 34 700W arc fixtures to 74 5W LED fixtures.
Paul G Hicks asked Mark (via Facebook) whether we could discuss the evolution of the value resorts from concept to construction of the All Stars, through Pop Century and look at the future. We’ll certainly look into using that as a topic on a future show.
Tracey and Scott from the Disney, Indiana Podcast called in from Walt Disney World, sharing information about a new space-themed Coke commercial at the Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre Restaurant that apparently debuted just last week. Has anybody else seen this yet?
Mike spammed his own podcast, again pushing The Lion King over Finding Nemo. Seems he just can’t leave well enough alone.
Jon Shain from Newtown, Pennsylvania, wrote in to thank us for the show looking at the new Disney Vacation Club resorts and wondered how we felt about Bay Lake Tower being so close to the Contemporary.
