Tip of the Week
Today’s tip is comes via Facebook from Tina Delaney, who suggested a strategy for taking cabs to Epcot resorts. Mike and Mark weren’t sure whether or not they agreed, but Tina said that she was using actual prices paid.
Featured Attraction
This week we look at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail at Disney’s California Adventure.
Review System Spotlight
This week we take a look at the California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. MousePlanet readers like it, rating it 3.9 out of five planets. Our featured review this week is by ForU2know of Chicago, IL.
ForU2know was extremely disappointed with the food compared with previous visits. They even went back the next night and had another terrible experience, earning the restaurant a 1-planet rating. Mike and Mark were very surprised to hear of the problems.
You can also find the California Grill in our Park Guide.

Last Week on MousePlanet
Andrew Rich, down at MousePlanet Global Headquarters told you what you may have missed on the MousePlanet site last week if you’re not visiting regularly.
Listener Feedback
MousePlanet’s Andrew Rich contributed his Top 3 ride vehicles at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Epcot:
Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Expedition Everest steam donkey and Kilimanjaro Safari jeep
Epcot: Universe of Energy moving theaters, Living Seas clam-mobiles, Wonders of China lean-rails. Honorable mention: Horizons time-cabs and World of Motion vehicles.
Eric King of MouseGuest also wrote in with his Top 3:
DAK: 1) Kilimanjaro safari jeep 2) Dinosaur time rover 3) Everest train.
Epcot: 1) Mission:Space capsule 2) Soarin’ lift system 3) Spaceship Earth time traveller
Bob Becker wrote in with his Top 3, but his reasoning sounded more like Top Attractions and not Top Ride Vehicles:
Animal Kingdom #1 – Expedition Everest, 2 – Tree of Life, & 3 – Bugs Life
Epcot #1 – Mission: Space. #2 – Test Track. #3 – World Showcase
Dean from NYC called into the voicemail line to wish a Happy Father’s Day to all fathers, especially Mark, and hoped that Mike will hopefully know the joy in the future. Dean also had an interesting observation on the issue of fatherhood in the Nemo vs. Simba debate.
Christopher Alvin wrote in to suggest a show on Pet Peeves and included his Top 3. It’s definitely on our radar for a future show. In the meantime, since we recorded this show, MousePlanet published a new list by Steve Russo on his park peeves.
Bobaloo from New Jersey called the voicemail for advice on whether his 11 year old daughter was too old for the Kim Possible Interactive Adventure at Epcot; they’re going in August. The question was asked for Ask the Kid, but The Kid hasn’t had the chance to try the KP Adventure yet and won’t until August. Mark and Mike answered the question for now, and we’ll Ask the Kid the same question after he gets a chance to try it.
