Tip of the Week

This week’s tip comes via Twitter from Fireman X (@firemanx on Twitter), who recommends wearing an UnderArmor-type shirt at the water parks, as it helps prevent sunburn and slide burns. They also dry out quickly.

Mark provided bonus tips after his trip in August: utilize the wonderful services from Owner’s Locker and Scooter Vacations. Using his locker and a scooter for his weife, Mark’s family’s vacation was aided tremendously by these two great companies.

WDWLocal wrote in about Episode 222 In regards to the Enchanted Tiki Room – Under New Management. WDWLocal feels that we were badmouthing the new show at the Sunshine Tree Pavilion. While we don’t necessarily agree, we went over our feelings on the attraction again.

Joey from Tucson wrote in to note that he felt that David Koenig’s attitude on Episode 332 was uncalled for and made him feel uncomfortable. Joey also wanted to know if we still were welcoming listeners who call in to the feedback line to record an intro to the show from the parks. (Why yes, yes we are!)

John Rodriguez wrote to ask whether it was likely that he could get a deal on lodging in one of the Disney resorts for his upcoming trip during Christmas Week. Mark and Mike told him that it was highly unlikely, but to keep checking the listings in the Disneyland Park Update because you never know.

John Gassman wrote in to let us know that he’s in the cast member choir that will be singing to guests during the Disney Legends ceremony.

Nicole wrote in to see if we knew why pregnant women are not allowed to ride Soarin’. Mark and Mike had no idea, and are still trying to find out the reason.

Dean from NYC called the feedback line to see how our summer is going and to wish Mike well on his marriage.
