Tip of the Week
This week’s tip comes via Facebook from Wendy Braddick, who notes that if you stay in DVC accommodations, a magnetic dry erase board to write daily plans/adrs helps with the “what are we doing today?”
Mark noted that you can keep the board in your Owner’s Locker between trips so that you don’t have to lug it back and forth and possibly damage it..
Mike noted that you can use the magnetic board on the backs of metal room doors at value and moderate resorts. He thinks that some deluxe resorts have metal doors but most have wood. Mark couldn’t remember whether the doors at Beach Club Villas was wood or metal.
Featured Attraction
This week we look at The Seas with Nemo & Friends at Epcot.
Review System Spotlight
This week we take a look at the Yak & Yeti Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. MousePlanet readers love it, rating it 4.2 out of five planets. Our featured review this week is by csuwyn of Sacramento, CA.
csuwyn, his wife and his daughter all enjoyed the restaurant, which was a pleasant surprise because his wife was dreading it. The food was wonderful, prompting them to give it a 5-planet rating.
You can also find the Yak & Yeti Restaurant in our Park Guide.

Listener Feedback
Jon Shain wanted to thank Mark for Twittering during his recent family trip to Walt Disney World, because it helped him to feel like he was in the parks. He also wanted to know about the problems with the Fantasmic Dining Package that had Mark so frustrated and angry. Mark explained the breakdown in what happened that night, and notice that he had already reported the upcoming solution to the problems.
Audress Johnson congratulated Mike and Kayla on their wedding and asked to see wedding photos. Here are what Mark got with his cell phone camera. Mike will post the professional photos at a later date.
The backyard of Mike’s parents’ house provided a lovely backdrop overlooking the Mississippi River.
The cake contained some not-so-hidden Mickeys.
Kayla and Mike were ecstatic.
With the vest and long coat, Best Man Mark thought like he looked like a member of the Voices of Liberty.
Kayla and Mike step down off of the deck after a photo session.
Alexis Bratengeier answered Mark Silverman’s question regarding how the audio track in Disneyland Paris’ Tower of Terror is switched between French and English. He also noted how the number of daily showings of Honey, I Shrunk the Audience using the English soundtrack were determined.
Bob McGovern from Rhode Island called in to congratulate Mike and Kayla on their wedding.
A monorail pilot who wishes to remain anonymous wrote in to note that there were multiple inaccuracies in David Koenig’s discussions of the problems with the monorail operations procedures and the cast member setup. The pilot recommended that everyone wait for the results of the investigation before jumping to conclusions.
L.Farr wrote in with a new Theme Park Etiquette item” No PDA (Public Displays of Affection).
Herb in Kansas wrote in to ask about the status of MouseFest 2010. Mark noted that an announcement should be coming soon on the MouseFest Web site.
