Some exciting new projects are currently in development for Animal Kingdom, including the opening of a new attraction that is replacing a former hidden gem show. Disney World previously shared that this highly anticipated new addition will be opening this winter and has now confirmed the opening date!

A new Zootopia-inspired show called “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” is opening this winter at the Tree of Life Theater. This new addition is replacing the former “It’s Tough to be a Bug!” show that closed permanently earlier this year, on March 17, to make way for this new experience. That show was one of the park’s opening day attractions that had run for over two decades.
Disney has now shared that the new Zootopia show will open on November 7, 2025! This is happening a few weeks before Zootopia 2 comes to theaters on November 26.
