Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World is replacing DinoLand with a brand new Tropical Americas land that will feature Indiana Jones and Encanto attractions. Since this news was first announced, we’ve been waiting to hear the permanent closure date for DINOSAUR so this work can truly move forward.
We finally have the end date for the remaining areas of DinoLand, including DINOSAUR, Restaurantosaurus, and the rest of the area!

Final Closing Date for DINOSAUR Released
The last day for guests to ride DINOSAUR at Animal Kingdom is February 1, 2026. Starting February 2, 2026, the attraction will close permanently so work can begin on transforming the attraction into a new Indiana Jones-themed experience.
The former main entrance at DinoLand has now been blocked off. Guests will have to walk through construction walls to access DINOSAUR during its final months.
