Disneyland Anniversary Ticket Offer begins Friday

Beginning May 16, 2025, and continuing through summer 2026, the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will honor seven decades of happiness and many moments of joy in the making. Upon entering the gates of Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif., floral Mickey welcomes guests to the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration with a colorful display of vibrant flowers, multi-colored banners and bunting. (Artist Concept/Disneyland Resort)

Fans can visit Disneyland up to four times during the 70th anniversary for as little as $100 per day with the Disneyland Anniversary Ticket that went on sale in March.

The tickets are valid for visits during the first months of the 70th anniversary celebration, May 16 through August 14, 2025. You can purchase 3-day park tickets for $360 per person, or 4-day park tickets for $400. Pricing is the same for all ages 3 and older. As always, you can add on optional Park Hopper and/or Lightning Lane Multi Pass service upgrades for an extra charge.

Beginning May 16, 2025, and continuing through summer 2026, the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will honor seven decades of happiness and many moments of joy in the making in Anaheim, Calif. Guests can “celebrate happy” and enjoy themed décor all around the resort. In the esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, guests will find a contemporary 50-foot sculpture inspired by Sleeping Beauty Castle with colorful glass panels and golden charms representing the five original lands. (Artist Concept/Disneyland Resort)

Even better, there is no “fuse” on this ticket, which means you can use the first admission on May 16 and wait until August to use the remaining admission days if you wish. However, you must make a theme park reservation for each day you wish to use this ticket, and Disney will set aside only a limited number of reservations for this ticket type each day.

As with the prior offer, the terms state, “Reservation availability for these offer tickets is not guaranteed for any date and reservations may be difficult to get for any particular date, especially as the ticket expiration date approaches. To ensure best availability, make reservations early.” From past experience, it will be difficult to get reservations the last weeks of this offer unless you plan well in advance.

Tickets available on the Disneyland website, or through MousePlanet’s travel partner Get Away Today. Book online at Get Away Today or call 1-855-GET-AWAY, and be sure to mention you saw them on MousePlanet.

Disneyland Hotels reveal more new menus

As we shared two weeks ago, 60 new drinks and dishes appeared on the menus throughout Disneyland and Disney California Adventure at the end of April. Another 70 are slated to debut this week as part of Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary celebration. Now the hotels of the Disneyland Resort have announced their own menu updates, which will be good news for hotel guests who want to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner at their resort hotel.

I’m not going to recap all of the menu additions – the Disney Parks Blog did that themselves last week – but there are some interesting offerings to share.

New breakfast options are coming to the Disneyland Hotel. Photo courtesy Disney.

I’m most excited about the expanded breakfast offerings at the Disneyland Hotel, as Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar begins walk-up only service on Friday, May 16. The four dishes are:

  • Ube-stuffed French Toast: Japanese milk bread, coconut custard, ube diplomat cream, and fresh tropical fruit
  • Open-Face Lomi Salmon Sandwich: Smoked salmon, egg, tomato, and red onion on a croissant served with a pineapple wedge
  • Korean-style Breakfast Sandwich: Sliced country ham, fresh tomato slices, and sliced Havarti on egg-coated Japanese milk bread
  • Tropical Pancakes: Macadamia nut buttermilk pancakes, passion fruit curd, and toasted coconut

All fours new breakfast dishes are also available next door at Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill, which has the decided advantage of offering mobile order.

Shaker salads are new additions to the Coffee House menu. Photo courtesy Disney.

The Coffee House is adding another breakfast croissant sandwich to the menu, along with two new shaker salads which should prove popular with the convention crowd. I’m also intrigued by four new non-alcoholic beverages, including an Iced Yuzu Espresso. I like espresso. I love yuzu. I can’t imaging pairing them, so of course I’m going to have to try this concoction. Keep in mind that this location closes in the afternoon, so be sure to check operating hours.

This and That…

…“it’s a small world” was scheduled to reopen on Friday, May 9 following a lengthy refurbishment. The reopening date was pushed back, and the ride is now scheduled to reopen this Tuesday, May 13.

…Carnation Cafe was scheduled to be closed through May 11 for refurbishment, and to reopen today, May 12. Based on the Disneyland website, it appears the restaurant will reopen Monday, though there are no reservations available for the next week.

…Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome and the Sorcerer’s Workshop have been closed since April 28 for refurbishment. Both are now scheduled to reopen Wednesday, May 14

…There is one Grad Nite scheduled this week, on Monday, May 12.

…At press time, tickets were still on sale for both of the Disneyland After Dark – Pride Nite events in June. More event details on the DIsneyland website.

2026

  • 2026 Disneyland Half Marathon weekend –Thursday, January 29 through Sunday, February 1 2026. All events are sold out. More information on the event website.

We also recommend checking the convention calendar at the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor and Convention Bureau website. When looking at that site, remember to note both the number of people and the number of rooms resulting from each convention. A gathering of 25,000 people booking few room nights (indicating most will be driving in to the area for their meeting) can impact traffic around the resort much more than a crowd of 25,000 staying in area hotels. Of course, that second group is going to make finding a hotel room more difficult (and possibly more expensive), so it’s best to book your own room as early as possible if you see that a big convention is in town during your trip.

Tickets, Discounts and Promotions

Disneyland prices as of October 9, 2024.

Note: MousePlanet does not edit past Updates to reflect price increases; for up-to-date prices, check the most recent Disneyland Resort Update. Several current promotions offer discounted admission to the Disneyland Resort. For your convenience, we have grouped the discount offers based on the number of days the tickets are valid. Check out the category that best matches the amount of time you plan to spend at the resort, and pick the offer that works best for you. And keep those tips coming—let us know if you find a better or different offer, so we can share it with other readers!

This first section is a list of discounts on ticket-only purchases. Though it has become more common in recent years, Disneyland tickets are rarely offered at deep discounts unless you are a resident of Southern California or Northern Mexico. For residents outside that area, the best discounts available tend to be simple advance purchase discounts. If you know of any additional discounts, offers, promotions, or contests that should be listed in this section, drop us a line. Note, we are no longer listing offers from the Anaheim-Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau, as their convenience fee negates any savings.

Don’t get scammed! Never buy tickets from an unofficial or secondary outlet, such as through eBay or Craigslist. Never rent or purchase tickets from people approaching you outside the gates stating they have remaining days or leftover tickets. This practice is against the terms of use for Disneyland admission, and may result in denial of entry. It is also common for criminals to shoplift inactivated Disney theme park tickets from supermarkets to resell them. There is no way to determine if these tickets are valid until you try to use them to enter the parks. Only purchase Disney theme park tickets directly from Disney, an authorized seller, or travel agency like MousePlanet travel partner Get Away Today.

Heroes Ticket

The Disneyland Resort is honoring the firefighters, law enforcement personnel and emergency medical technicians who worked to battle the Palisades and Eaton fires in January with complimentary admission to the “Happiest Place on Earth” for themselves and one guest. Eligible personnel can receive two one-day park hopper tickets to visit the Disneyland Resort Mondays through Thursdays from May 6 to August 7, 2024

Those eligible for the offer include “eligible California firefighters as well as eligible Los Angeles-based law enforcement personnel and emergency medical technicians who helped combat the LA fires in January 2025. The Heroes Ticket will also be available to eligible individuals from other departments that provided mutual aid assistance.” Disney says more detailed information will be sent directly to the qualifying departments in April. Park reservations are required to use the tickets

SoCal Resident 3-Day Ticket Offer

Southern California residents can visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks three days between January 1 and May 15, 2025 for as little as $199.

There are four versions of the Special Southern California Resident Ticket, starting at $199:

  • 3-day, 1 park per day ticket – $199 per person
  • 3-day Park Hopper ticket – $289 per person
  • 3-day, 1 park per day ticket with Lightning Lane Multi Pass – $295 per person
  • 3-day, Park Hopper ticket with Lightning Lane Multi Pass – $385 per person

Unlike the 2024 offer, the base version of this ticket is valid 7 days a week, not just weekdays. Even better, the January 1st start date means many visitors can use this ticket to catch the last few days of this year’s Holidays at the Disneyland Resort festivities and the Festival of Holidays before they end on January 6.

The fine print of these offers changes slightly each season, so be sure to pay close attention to details before you purchase to get the most value for your money. We note that residents of Northern Baja California are again excluded from this offer.

There is no “fuse” on this ticket, which means that you can use the first admission on January 1 and wait until May 15 to use the remaining admission. However, remember that you must make a theme park reservation for each day that you want to use the ticket. Disney also warns that ticket sales may be paused or ended at any time, so it’s probably best to purchase early so you’re ready to make reservations as soon as they open for your desired travel dates. Reservations can now be made up to 180 days in advance, which as of press time includes the entire duration of this offer.

Disney states that proof of residency is required for purchase and admission, and each resident can purchase up to five tickets per day.

Four Day Tickets
  • Four-Day, One-Park per Day Ticket – regularly $445/$420
  • Four-Day Park Hopper Add-On – $95 per day, per ticket
  • Lightning Lane Multi Pass Add-On – $32 per day, per ticket when purchased in advance. Demand-based pricing applies to same-day purchases, starting at $33 per ticket.
  • Lightning Lane Premier Pass Add-On – $400 per day, per ticket
  • Advance purchase Four-Day tickets – check for current discounts and promotions from Get Away Today.

Five Day Tickets
  • Five-Day, One-Park per Day Ticket – Regularly $480/$450
  • Five-Day Park Hopper Add-On – $105 per day, per ticket
  • Lightning Lane Multi Pass Add-On – $32 per day, per ticket when purchased in advance. Demand-based pricing applies to same-day purchases, starting at $33 per ticket.

Some travel providers may offer tickets for 6 days or longer as part of a package to international customers; residents of Canada, Australia/New Zealand, or the U.K. should check with local travel agencies to see what options may be available.

Military discounts are valid for stays most nights from January 1 through December 27, 2025. You can book now through December 23, 2025, and travel must be completed by December 28, 2024.

Disney does not publish the actual discounted rates, and instead asks eligible U.S. military personnel to call (800) 453-4911 to check pricing, availability and to make reservations. In past years, the offer was generally 30% to 40% off, based on room category. Concierge rooms, Signature or Premium suites, or 2-or 3-Bedroom Villas are excluded from the offer, and this offer can not be combined with any other discount.

Unlike the Walt Disney World version, the Disneyland offer allows the eligible service member to book up to two rooms, and allows their spouse (with valid and proper ID) to qualify in the absence of the service member.
