Easter Dining Option

Easter brunch at the Disneyland Resort is an annual tradition for many

MousePlanet readers. These special Easter menu offerings will help you

choose the perfect restaurant for brunch or dinner.

Disneyland Resort Hotel Restaurants

In addition to the following special offers, Yamabuki in the Paradise

Pier Hotel and Hook’s Pointe, Granville’s Steakhouse and Goofy’s Kitchen

in the Disneyland Hotel will serve their regular menus.

For Napa Rose reservations and information, call 714-300-7170. To make

Priority Seating reservations for any other Disneyland Resort Hotel location,

or for the Blue Bayou, call 714-781-DINE (3463).

Napa Rose in the Grand Californian Hotel

  • Four-course brunch: $45.00
  • Four-course brunch with champagne: $55.00
  • Special menu offered Sunday, April 20
  • Seating from 11:00a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Regular menu served for dinner.

First Course (choice of)

  • Grilled asparagus and hearts of palm with Meyer lemon fennel vinaigrette
  • Citrus smoked rainbow trout salad with Easter egg radishes and toasted

    brioche

  • Laura Chennel goat cheese raviolis with artichoke sun dried tomato

    ratatouille

  • Spring mushroom pot pie with apple wood bacon and thyme cream sauce
  • Shaved imported prosciutto with seasonal melon

Seconds (choice of)

  • Salad of watercress, endive and lambs lettuce with an egg salad panini
  • Creamy golden beet soup with chive cr¶me fraiche

Main Course (choice of)

  • Poached eggs on a Dungeness crab and apple wood bacon hash with champagne

    hollandaise

  • Crepes filled with rock shrimp, leeks and mushrooms with a red bell

    pepper cream sauce.

  • Warm quiche with country duck sausage, wild mushrooms and Sonoma jack.

  • SautÚed salmon with roast red pepper whipped potatoes and lemon caper

    essence.

  • Lamb two ways: Garlic-roaster rack chop and grilled porterhouse with

    spring vegetable ratatouille

Desserts (hoice of)

  • Strawberry meringue tart with lemon vanilla anglaise
  • Manjari chocolate mousse decadences raspberry sabayon
  • Warm chocolate cappuccino pudding with Grand Marnier chantilly

PCH Grill in the Paradise Pier Hotel

A special edition of the Minnie and Friends Brunch Buffet will be featured

on Easter from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be additional characters

on hand. The regular PCH Grill menu will be offered for the rest of the

day.

  • Adults: $25.00, plus tax and gratuity
  • Children 3-11: $13.50, plus tax and gratuity
  • Children 2 and under: Free

Storyteller’s CafÚ in the Grand Californian Hotel

Storyteller’s Café will be featuring their springtime brunch buffet.

  • Adults: $24.95, plus tax and gratuity
  • Children 3-11: $9.95, plus tax and gratuity
  • Children 2 and under: Free

Disneyland Park Restaurants

The Blue Bayou in New Orleans Square

In addition to the regular menu, the Blue Bayou will be featuring a special

Easter meal of grilled beef tenderloin filet with béarnaise sauce,

sautéed gulf shrimp tournedos with saffron reduction sauce, fresh

garden vegetables and the famous bayou au gratin potatoes.

Lunch

  • Adults: $18.99, plus tax and gratuity
  • Children 3-11: $6.99, plus tax and gratuity

Dinner

  • Adults: $21.99, plus tax and gratuity
  • Children 3-11: $6.99, plus tax and gratuity

Downtown Disney Restaurants

House of Blues

The House of Blues has added an extra seating for its popular Gospel

Sunday Brunch on Easter. The two-hour event features a Southern buffet

served during the first hour, and live music with a gospel band during

the second hour. The menu includes:

Breakfast Station

  • Assorted breakfast pastries
  • Fresh fruit
  • Italian Pasta Salad
  • Caesar Salad with Wood Oven Croutons

Hot Dishes

  • Jambalaya breakfast potatoes
  • Scrambled eggs and chives
  • Eggs Benedict
  • Biscuits and sausage gravy
  • Bacon
  • Southern smoked barbecue chicken
  • Macaroni and cheese
  • Catfish bites
  • Spicy tartar sauce
  • Bread pudding with bourbon glaze
  • Rosemary cornbread

Carving stations

  • Prime rib
  • Spit roasted ham with horseradish

On April 20, 2003, shows are at 9:00, 11:30 and 2:00. Tickets are $33.00

for ages 10 and up, and $16.50 for children 3-9. Children under three

are free, but you must reserve a ticket for them.

Tickets are subject to a $4.00 service charge when purchased over the

phone, or a $2.00 service charge if purchased in person at the restaurant.

Catal

Catal’s three-course Easter brunch is $22.50, plus beverages, tax and

gratuity. Children 12 and under are $13.00. The special menu will be served

from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

First course (your choice of)

  • Chilled carrot soup with coconut-verbena sorbet and marinated scallops
  • Baby beet and asparagus salad with a goat cheese fritter and tarragon

    pink peppercorn vinaigrette

  • Braised chicken and garlic sausage roulade with tomato polenta gnocchi,

    black olives and pesto

  • Lamb shank agnolotti with spring zucchini and their blossoms, oven-dried

    tomatoes and saffron emulsion sauce

  • Crispy crab cakes on a salad of celery, sugar snap peas, red grapes

    and apple with spicy mustard aioli

Main course (your choice of)

  • Buckwheat and blueberry pancakes with lavender-infused honey syrup,

    whipped butter and fresh blueberries

  • Brioche French toast stuffed with local strawberries and macadamia

    nuts, topped with vanilla mascarpone cheese and pure maple syrup

  • Two poached eggs on a bacon potato square with caramelized onions

    and red wine sauce

  • Pappardelle with cremini mushrooms, rapini broccoli, shaved cured

    ham, parmesan cheese and garlic croutons

  • Steak and eggs — a petit filet mignon with scrambled eggs —

    garlic spinach, tomato fondue and hollandaise sauce

  • Grilled ahi tuna with French lentils, smoked bacon, a duo of spring

    onions and green garlic sauce

Dessert

  • Rose-infused white chocolate mousse cake with braised berries
  • Turtle in a box
  • Fresh strawberries with almond tea cake
  • Selection of ice cream and sorbet

Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria and Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen are both

offering special Easter menus. Menu details were not available at press
