- New information calls the Downtown Disney abduction story into question. UPDATE: The victims are now declining their intention to prosecute the abductors if they are caught, and are refusing to cooperate with authorities’ requests for them to describe facial features for composite sketches or take a voice stress analysis lie detector test.
- Paperwork filed with Orange County suggests that the Disney-MGM Studios could become the Pixar Studios

- After a “do-over” because the final challenge stumped all 21 finalists, Alena Zvereva of Russia emerged as the winner of the Volvo contest tying in with the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.
- The new Google Calendar gallery lets you add the DisneyLiNK theme park calendar to your own Google calendar.
- Disney signed a first-look deal with POW
Entertainment and its head Stan Lee, creator of Spider-Man, The Incredible
Hulk, the X-Men and other Marvel superheroes. - Mike feels that the Xbox 360 version of the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End video game is OK, but not great. For a look at the graphics on the Xbox version of the game, take a look at the screenshots of Elizabeth and Davy Jones’ crew, Captain Jack Sparrow in Port Royal and a swordfight between Captain Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones.

Our Tip of the Week this week came from Tony Dmytriw, who recommended the Congress Park section of the Saratoga Springs Resort as a great location for making the best use of the Disney bus transportation system.

Disney Senior Creative Executive Tom Fitzgerald gave an overview of the new attraction at the What’s New/What’s Next presentation.

Steven Ng narrated the segment, with interviews and other audio collected by Adrienne Vincent-Phoenix.
Adrienne interviewed Eric Jacobson, Senior Vice President of Creative Development at Walt Disney Imagineering, as well as Imagineering Vice President of Creative Development Tony Baxter.
MouseStation favorites The Abominables were the first people in line to ride the attraction after its official opening.
Daniel Lew (to whom Mike and Mark apologize profusely for calling him Kenneth) provided a comparison between the Nemo Subs at Disneyland and The Seas With Nemo and Friends at Walt Disney World.
We also had a pair of voicemails from Ricky Ruiz of The Big Slicks before and after he rode the attraction during previews.

This week’s Featured Attraction is Casey Jr. Circus Train in Fantasyland at Disneyland Park. Mike & Mark both enjoy the attraction, as it’s a fun way to relax a little in Fantasyland.
This week’s Review system spotlight focuses on the Wilderness Lodge at Walt Disney World. Mike & Mark both recommend it. MousePlanet readers seem to love the Lodge, as it was rated 4.5 out of five planets on the strength of 23 reviews, and is the second-highest rated Walt Disney World resort. In this week’s Ask the Kid segment, listener Kate and her son Aidan asked Mark’s 8-year-old son: “What is your favorite Walt Disney World restaurant and why?” Mark’s son apparently prefers entertainment over cuisine, as three of his four selections were on the basis of the entertainment during the meal.
This week’s Magical Moment came from Marcus Womble. Marcus’ Magical Moments came from all of the magic that he made as a member of the Walt Disney World College Program.

- Marcie Reeter called in to our voicemail, telling us about her family’s experiences along the Pirates red carpet after they spoke with Steven Ng, as well as telling us about their experience on the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, ending with a special hello from Brody. (Hi Brody!)

We’re looking at cutting the podcast into multiple, smaller shows each week in order to make it accessible to those who may not be able to listen to 90-minute or so shows. We’re looking to break MouseStation into either two 45-minute shows or three 30-minute shows. (Time are approximate, of course, as we have no idea how long we’re going to ramble on any given topic.) Anyway, we’d like your feedback on what you think of the idea, and whether you agree with our idea of breaking the show into a featured topic show, a mini-feature segments show and a listener feedback show, all published on different days each week. (The MousePlanetWatch news would continue as a separate show on yet another day of the week.) We haven’t made a final decision yet, so let us know what you think!
