Listener Feedback Friday!
In this week’s Listener Feedback:
Mike returned after a couple of shows off, and it was good to have him back.
Kyle wrote in to say that he loved the interview with David Koenig in episode 145. Kyle really wants us to have David on the show again, maybe to talk about Disneyland history.
It’s a good bet that we’ll have David on again, though we don’t know when that’ll be yet.
Big Brian Martsolf called in to say that he enjoyed David Koenig’s appearance, too. But instead of commenting on David, he wanted to mention that it was news to him that Brad Rex had really wanted to take the wand down and to have a celebration for Epcot’s 25th, but was being a good soldier and promoting the corporate position that those things wouldn’t happen.
Following David’s joke about Walter Koenig, Brian also noted that Walter Koenig’s father had been a record producer who produced albums in the 1950s for the Firehouse Five Plus Two (the jazz band that included Ward Kimball and other Disney animators.
Big Brian also sent an email asking whether there is a page where we are collecting all of the “@ The Station” comic strips by Sean Jones. At this point, we do not have one, but we will consider putting one together.
Jason Montegut wrote in with his Top 3 lists for all U.S. Parks & Resorts.

Jason also asked whether we think it’s possible that an attraction will ever be created, or if too much time has passed since the movie came out almost 14 years ago.
The only way that Mike could see more Lion King at the parks would be in another montage attraction. Mark didn’t think that more montage attractions would be a good idea.

Dan the Light Man called in to the feedback line to talk about the Backstage Magic tour.
When he and Nancy did it in September, it was lots of fun. It sounded like the tour hadn’t changed much at that time from when Mark and Mike did their tours. Lunch was still at Mama Melrose’s, and the major difference was that the trip through the Utilidors had been curtailed. He was also told in response to a question that there was no way that Disney would allow people backstage at the Tower of Terror, yet that’s exactly what Mark had heard about changes to the tour.
Dan also highly recommended Keys to the Kingdom and Backstage Safari, though he wasn’t sure what Keys was like without the Utilidor stuff./p>
Dan (a.k.a. Amazing Earl) wrote in to tell Mike that there were only three degrees of separation between him and Mike
Paul Schnebelen wrote in with his top 3 list for all Disney Resorts.

Paul also wanted to agree with Mike that the reduction in the length of Traditions had caused many problems with new cast members not being able to provide a Disney-class experience.

On April 27, Mark will be walking to raise money for the March of Dimes for the third time. Please consider supporting him. The March of Dimes mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.
