Sharla wrote in to say that Mark should count her in for the mousse and Illuminations meet on May 17. Anyone else who will be at Walt Disney World on the 17th is welcome to attend the meet at 8:00 at Boulangerie Patisserie.
Maryann Fekete wrote in for the first time in a long while to ask a question about the special tours for Animal Kingdom Lodge concierge guests and to let us know about an interesting issue that she had with Disney's Magical Express.
Scott Ferraioli wrote in response to Dan the Light Man's “Ask the Experts” question to say that he had heard the howls outside of the Haunted Mansion during his recent trip.
Big Brian Martsolf also wrote in to confirm that the howls are still there, and to give us some background on why the howls could be heard so clearly all the way across the Seven Seas Lagoon.
Sticking with the Haunted Mansion theme, Bill Aiken wrote in to ask whether there was a special wheelchair-capable ride vehicle on the Haunted Mansion. As far as we know, and have seen, the answer is no.
Mary Ellen Dillon wrote in with a great story about her daughter and Main Street barber Michal Marach.
Saundra Schmidt wrote in to say that she really doesn't enjoy our Six Degrees of Disney segment and also that she needs better instructions on how to get her pin to locate correctly on our Frappr map. Mike has put together the following set of instructions:
West Coast Bureau Chief Andrew Rich wrote in to clear up some misconceptions regarding Monday's Tip of the Week from Joey in Tucson, about getting extra Fastpasses using both a Deluxe Annual Pass (unused that day) as well as that day's blockout pass.
Dan the Light Man called in with a Teppan Edo review. Mark and Mike were both pretty much inclined to agree, based on their previous experience with the Teppanyaki Dining Rooms.
Sean Coomer wrote in from somewhere in Southeast Asia to comment on the Las Vegas meet show, since he is originally from Vegas. He noted in depth the tie between the former MGM Grand Adventures park in Las Vegas and Disneyland. He also visited a Disney-like park in Bangkok a couple of weeks ago, called Dream World.
He also commented on Mark's singing the child's part of "Yo Ho" opening the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
