Mother’s Day Dining

The restaurants of the Disneyland Resort are providing a variety of delectable
dishes in honor of mothers everywhere. We’ve gathered the special MotherÕs
Day menu offerings together here to help you choose the perfect restaurant
for brunch or dinner.


Disneyland Resort Hotel Restaurants


In addition to the following special offers, Yamabuki in the Paradise
Pier Hotel and Hook’s Pointe, Granville’s Steakhouse and
Goofy’s Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel, and Storyteller’s Café
at the Grand Californian Hotel will serve their regular menus.

To make Priority Seating reservations for any other Disneyland Resort
Hotel location, call 714-781-DINE (781-3463).


Grand Ballroom at the Disneyland Hotel — Disney’s Royal Buffet
for Mother’s Day


Dine with Cinderella and the Disney Princesses. The all-you-care-to-eat
buffet will include carving stations, omelet and waffle stations, made-to-order
spring rolls, fruit, salad, pastry, cheese, dessert and more. A children’s
buffet is offered.


The event will include photo opportunities, (bring your own camera),
culinary demonstrations, live entertainment and lots of Disney characters.



  • 8:00 am – 9:00 am: Disneyland Resort hotel guests only

  • 9:00 am – 2:00 pm: Open to the public

  • Adults: $52.00, plus tax and gratuity

  • Children 3-11: $13.50, plus tax and gratuity

  • Children 2 and under: Free


Disneyland Premium Annual Passholders and Senior citizens receive a 10%
discount on their meals.


Disneyland Cast Members receive a 20% discount when they dine between
9:00 am Ð 10:00 am, or 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm only. Cast members may not make
reservations for discounted times, but may make reservations for other
times at regular prices.



Napa Rose in the Grand Californian Hotel



  • Four-course brunch: $45.00

  • Four-course brunch with champagne: $55.00

  • Special menu offered Sunday, May 11, 2003

  • Seating from 11:00a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

  • Regular menu served for dinner.



First Course – Your choice of:



  • Tempura fried squash blossoms stuffed with Chennel goat cheese on
    spring vegetable ratatouille

  • Grapevine smoked salmon with corn fritters and roast pepper sour cream

  • Morel mushroom raviolis with buttered leeks and English pea coulis

  • Sauteed jalapeno shrimp with citrus salad and black bean sauce

  • Shaved imported prosciutto with seasonal melon


Seconds – Your choice of:



  • California asparagus soup with julienned prosciutto, orzo pasta and
    truffle oil

  • Spinach salad with Napa Valley goat cheese, veal bacon and orange
    scented balsamic vinaigrette


Main Course – Your choice of:



  • Poached eggs on a Dungeness crab and apple wood bacon hash with champagne
    hollandaise

  • Oak roaster California halibut with tomoatoes, fennel and preserved
    lemon vinaigrette

  • Warm quiche with country duck sausage, wild mushrooms and Sonoma jack.

  • Thyme roasted breast of chicken with spring vegetable risotto and
    tarragon jus

  • Grilled corn fed pork porterhouse with cherry sage sauce


Desserts – Your choice of:



  • Bourbon pecan cake with blackberry sorbet and candied pecans

  • Frozen honey strawberry soufflé with vanilla cream cannoli

  • Manjari chocolate mousse decadence with late harvest Riesling – raspberry
    essence

  • Meyer lemon cream brulee with fresh raspberries.



PCH Grill in the Paradise Pier Hotel


A special edition of the Minnie and Friends Brunch Buffet will be featured
on MotherÕs Day from 6:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. There will be additional characters
on hand. The regular PCH Grill menu will be offered for the rest of the
day.



  • Adults: $25.00, plus tax and gratuity

  • Children 3-11: $13.50, plus tax and gratuity

  • Children 2 and under: Free



Downtown Disney Restaurants


House of Blues


The House of Blues has added an extra seating for their popular Gospel
Sunday Brunch on Mother’s Day. The two-hour event features a southern
buffet served during the first hour, and live music with a gospel band
during the second hour.


The menu includes:


Breakfast Station Asst. Breakfast Pastries Fresh Fruit Italian Pasta
Salad Caesar Salad with Wood Oven Croutons


Hot Dishes Jambalaya Breakfast Potatoes Scrambled Eggs and Chives Eggs
Benedict Biscuits and Sausage Gravy Bacon Southern Smoked BBQ Chicken
Macaroni and Cheese Catfish Bites and Spicy Tartar Sauce Bread Pudding
with Bourbon Glaze Rosemary Cornbread


Carving Stations Prime Rib and Spit Roasted Ham with Horseradish


On May 11, 2003, shows are at 9:00, 11:30 and 2:00. Tickets are $33.00
for ages 10 and up, and $16.50 for children 3-9. Children under three
are free, but you must reserve a ticket for them.


Tickets are subject to a $4.00 service charge when purchased over the
phone, or a $2.00 service charge if purchased in person at the restaurant.

Catal


Catal’s three-course Mother’s Day brunch is $22.50, plus beverages, tax
and gratuity. Children 12 and under are $13.00. The special menu will
be served from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.


First course – Your choice of:



  • Spring pea soup with bacon bits, creme fraiche and garlic croutons

  • A dozen spring vegetables marinated with lemon, marjoram and extra
    virgin olive oil in a crispy Parmesan cheese basket

  • Grilled chicken salad with romaine lettuce, avocado, jicama, crispy
    tortilla and charred tomato-cilantro vinaigrette

  • Baby tomato risotto with spring zucchini, opal basil and clams

  • Grilled calamari stuffed with ratatouille vegetables and topped with
    green olives, toasted almonds and saffron-scented smoked pepper vinaigrette


Main course – Your choice of:



  • Short stack of corn pancakes with vanilla roasted peaches, sweet creamed
    corn, hazelnuts and pure maple syrup

  • Brioche French toast stuffed with caramelized bananas and toasted
    walnuts, served with cinnamon butter and “Bananas Foster” syrup

  • Two poached eggs on a potato galette, with smoked salmon, red onion,
    chives and lemon creme fraiche

  • Radiatore with artichokes, wild mushrooms, English peas and white
    wine sauce

  • Steak and eggs – a petit filet mignon with scrambled eggs, garlic
    spinach, tomato fondue and hollandaise sauce

  • Sauteed Northern halibut with grilled eggplant, zucchini, a garbanzo
    bean cake and basil jus


Dessert:



  • Rose-infused white chocolate mousse cake with braised berries

  • Turtle in a box

  • Fresh strawberries with almond tea cake

  • Selection of ice cream and sorbet
