Major kudos go out to audio engineer Steven Ng, who had his work cut out for him in making Mike’s audio sound even listenable this week after we had to Jerry-rig our recording configuration when Mike’s keys didn’t make it back from Florida with him. (Mike’s keys have been delivered by FedEx, and we should be recording with our normal quality again next week.)

Mike provided our Tip of the Week, recommending that you take a midday break to get away from the crowds and have some downtime at your resort before returning to the parks in the evening as the crowds thin.

This week’s Review system spotlight focuses on Mike’s favorite hotel, Disney’s Pop Century Resort at Walt Disney World. You can also find the Pop Century Resort in our Park Guide. As discussed, we’re linking to the photo of Mike and Mark in the Pargo with fins at Pop Century and to the bonus video of Mike doing The Hustle at Pop Century.

This week’s Magical Moment was a story from Jeremy Szydlowski, whose daughter experienced some one-on-one attention from a cast member at Cinderella’s Royal Table.
In Listener Feedback, Big Brian Martsolf (visit his site here) had questions for Charlie Ridgway arising out of a story that Brian recently wrote for the AllEars newsletter about Liberty Square. He mentioned two web sites. One web site talks about how Disney was apparently turned down for one of the original replicas of the Liberty Bell. He also mentioned a reference in Disney World Trivia about the Disney bell being made from a mold from the original mold.
Steve Russo asked that we start asking a trivia question each week and started us off by asking where we would find and what the meaning is of “Nants ingonyama bagithi baba. Sithi uhhmm ingonyama.” For the complete words and the translation, go here.

Mark spent a chilly birthday participating in the March of Dimes WalkAmerica event last Sunday, and he would like to thank everyone who donated or offered moral support. While the event is over, donations are still trickling in. As of the posting of the show notes, the current total is $3,899, just over $100 short of his goal of $4,000. If you’d like to help put Mark over the top, or even if you’d just like to learn more about why he walks without donating, please check out his fundraising page for more information.
Thanks to our West Coast correspondent and MouseAdventure tipster Andrew Rich, and audio engineer and sound editor Steven Ng.
