Oogie Boogie Bash Expands to 31 Nights in 2025

December 5, 2024 by Adrienne Vincent-Phoenix

Disneyland has announced the 2025 schedule for the popular after-hours Oogie Boogie Bash, though they have yet to release pricing or registration details. The event expands to 31 nights in 2025, so it’s much ore likely that you’ll be able to get tickets to the event than in prior years.

Does Oogie Boogie Bash need a bigger, more elaborate parade to keep fans entertained? MousePlanet file photo.

We expect Inspire Magic Key holders will have the first chance to purchase tickets whenever they do go on sale, followed by all Magic Key holders and then the general public.

Tickets to the 2024 event ranged from $134 to $189 per person, depending on the night. Disney may keep that pricing consistent for 2025 with so many additional nights on offer, but we’ll have to wait and see. In past years Disney has also offered a VIP Tour with admission to Oogie Boogie Bash at a (much higher) extra cost.

2025 dates:

  • Aug. 17, 19, 21, 24, 26, 28, 31
  • Sept. 2, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
  • Oct. 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, 31
Villains Grove is exclusive to Oogie Boogie Bash, but is it enough to keep fans coming back for more? MousePlanet file photo.

What’s brewing for 2025?

With Disney extending the event to 31 nights in 2025, we have to wonder if there won’t also be some upgrades to the entertainment offerings at Oogie Boogie Bash. The event will run almost as long as Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney’s World’s Magic Kingdom this year, so it’s safe to say any “test and adjust” period is well and truly over for this event.

The Walt Disney World event has the fantastic “Boo to You!” Halloween parade, the hit Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show, and event-exclusive Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show.

By comparison, Oooge Boogie Bash has a much smaller parade, no stage show, and the Halloween fireworks are presented over at Disneyland during normal operating hours. Of course, Oogie Boogie Bash also has the interactive treat trails with close encounters with Disney Villains, some rarely seen outside of the event. The California event also has the Villains Grove walk-through.

Earlier this fall Disney surveyed guests who had attended Oogie Boogie Bash, and asked about possible additions to the event. The survey, which was shared to a Facebook group for Magic Key holders, included options like a haunted maze, stage shows based on Hocus Pocus or The Nightmare Before Christmas, more Halloween-themed shows, parades or fireworks, and additional ride overlays.

Disney hasn’t announced ANY changes for 2025, but we expect any such announcements will come before tickets go on sale, especially with twice the nights to sell this year.
