Six New Novelties Coming to Disneyland

August 31, 2025 by Adrienne Vincent-Phoenix

During this weekend’s Destination D23 event in Orlando, Disney gave a preview of some of the collectible novelties coming to the Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World and the Disney Cruise Line this year. Six of these items will be available at the Disneyland Resort, so make some room on your shelves and cupboards to welcome them all.

Release dates and pricing were not available at press time. All images courtesy Disney.

Holiday Christmas Tree Truck Popcorn Bucket

Mickey and Friends are ready to deck the halls with their freshly cut Christmas tree and seasonal decor. Disney did not specifically state, but this figure appears to light up. We’re also curious if it has a pull-back feature like the Pizza Planet truck.

Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar Holiday Zombie Mug

Another can’t-miss item that will be available this holiday season is the Trader Sam’s Holiday Zombie Mug. This festive and fearsome drinkware has two versions: gold and red thread. We do not know which version will be released at the Disneyland Hotel, and which version will be released at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto in Walt Disney World. These are always popular – keep an eye on the Trader Sam’s page on the Disneyland mobile app for more information about mobile order options when this is released.

Monsters, Inc. Scream Canister Popcorn Bucket

Disney has previously released the Scream Canister as a water bottle, a sipper and a coffee mug, but this will be the first popcorn bucket. With Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! closing at Disney California Adventure in early 2026, this may be part of a farewell promotion.

Little Green Men Jetpack Sipper

Another iteration of the popular Little Green Men sipper will be available at Disneyland.

Winnie the Pooh & Piglet Spring Popcorn Bucket

This is a very early preview of a spring release. The popcorn bucket shows Piglet popping out of an egg.

Bantha Sipper

Banthas are quite large in the Star Wars universe, but this sipper transforms these hairy, horned creatures into a handheld novelty. This will be released in 2026 at the Disneyland Resort – perhaps as part of the Season of the Force promotion?
