The Disney Villains Collection by Bath & Body Works

Following on the success of the Spring ’25 Disney Princess collection, Bath & Body Works has announced a new Disney Villains collection will hit store shelves on September 2, though members of the Bath & Body Works loyalty program can shop online August 26 & 27.

Where the Princess collection featured scents inspired by six Disney Princesses, the new Disney Villains collection is focused on just two baddies – Maleficent and the Evil Queen – though a few other characters appear in accessory pieces.

Per Bath & Body Works, the Evil Queen-inspired fragrance “enchants with a captivating blend of Dark Red Apple, Wicked Pear, and Vanilla Suede—a scent that’s fresh, warm, and undeniably addictive.”

It’s hard to shop for a fragrance based on an online description, but I actually spent a few years wearing the Bath & Body Works apron before coming to MousePlanet, so I’m here to help decipher the marketing speak. Fragrances are usually described in “note” order, top, middle and bottom. The top note is the first thing you’ll smell in a scent, and it’s also the first note to evaporate on the skin. Then comes the middle note, but the bottom note is really the one you want to pay attention to, because it’s the scent that lasts the longest. Evil Queen sounds like a lovely scent in the “gourmand” category, so if warm vanilla base notes are your thing, you’ll likely love this one.

The Maleficent-inspired fragrance “excites with a rich, mysterious fusion of Sinister Plum, Midnight Berries, and Mystical Woods.” Based on the more detailed description, which includes rose and black tea, this sounds like a slightly spicy / woodsy scent, perfect for fall.

The two scents are available in formats ranging from perfume to laundry detergent, and we have the complete list for each below.

And though the scents are the focus of this collection, the hottest items for Disney collectors will likely be the accessory pieces – candle holders, soap dispensers, Wallflower plugs, cosmetic bags and more.
