Mark and Mike choose their top three ride vehicles for two of Walt Disney World’s parks.

Mark’s pick for runner-up was the Wildlife Express train car, while Mike’s was the Primeval Whirl roller coaster car.

Mark’s pick for runner-up was the Test Track test car, while Mike’s was the Friendship boats. Mark thinks that the Friendship boats are transportation rather than an attraction, but he’ll let Mike have it.

What are your favorite ways to cool off at Walt Disney World?

• Sleeping in a tent with the windows shut in Fort Wilderness! 😛
• Taking a breezy ride on the People Mover-I mean Tomorrowland Transit Authority.
• Going to see a show. Or riding Splash Mountain. I always seem to get soaked on that.
• Watching Mickey’s Philharmagic or going back to my resort.
• Voyage of the Little Mermaid at DHS!
• Riding splash mountain or Kali. Or if in Epcot hanging out in the American Adventure. It’s cool and has great music with the show in the lobby.
• sitting in the RPC lounge at the GF drinking pink lemonade
• Eating in a sit down restaurant.
• A nice slow ride through Spaceship Earth. If we are lucky it stops while we are desending so we can take a brief nap.
• 1) Ice Station Cool (RIP). 2) Only visit in November, December, January.
• I would got to club cool in Epcot center or go to the Advanced Training Lab at Mission space just to cool down and have fun.
• Any air conditioned attraction. Splash Mountain then a Dole Whip. I’d say Kali River Rapids but, I’m the one who didn’t get wet.
• fun way to cool of is to head to Pirates of the Caribbean its always cool down there, or a Gin & Tonic by Storm Along Bay
• Take a swim in the Shark Reef @ Typhoon Lagoon. Also, Castaway Creek. Or Cross Country Creek @ Blizzard Beach. Any pools.

What topic that Mark no longer covers should he pick up again? Alternatively, what Disney topic needs more coverage?

• News not a lot like you used to do before but a lttle would be nice.
• How about how Imagineering is utilizing technology trends? Where is it successful? Where does it detract? How will it be used in the future? And for that matter, how was it used in the past? (Videophone dining reservations, anyone?)
• Ahhhhh, the EPCOT Center Worldkey system. How I miss you.
• How about covering some of the Disney “extras” like the optional tours, the various stage acts around EPCOT, etc.
• For podcast I’d like to see more of the “fun” segments back, like “What in the Disney World’ and 6 degrees. I like all the articles and podcasts which talk about park stuff and give opinions on them, such as the recent Stich discussion.
• I think special diets needs more coverage. The passporter book is a nice reference but its always updating: ex: findingdivvies issue (Divvies nut- & dairy-free treats)
• Bring back park updates and more “Ask the Kid” and when he’s not available use Mike’s future bride for “Ask the Fiance.”
• You haven’t done an interview with an author or a review of Disney-related books in a while, Mark – how ’bout either one of those? (If you ever run out of Listeners of the Month, I’d even come on the show for that one.)
• I second wanting to know more about the optional tours and extras, and maybe a little about what it’s like behind scenes.
