Mark and Mike choose their top three ride vehicles for Disney’s two California theme parks.

Mark’s picks for runner-up were the California Screamin’ coaster cars and Flik’s Flyers food boxes, while Mike’s was the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror elevator.

Mark had a whole bunch of picks for runner-up, including was the Peter Pan’s Flight pirate ships, Main Street Vehicles, Finding Nemo subs, Star Tours starspeeders, Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin’s Lenny the Cab and Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride motorcars. Mike limited himself to three: the Disneyland Monorail, Autopia cars and Gadget’s Go Coaster cars.

What’s the largest group that you’ve ever taken a Disney vacation with?

Lots of people wrote in, with group sizes from 6 to 150 (actual traveling parties from 6 to 36), most in the range of 6 to 16. Here are the narratives:

• I don’t like traveling in big groups because you end up not doing as much (in my opinion). So I’d say 6 is the largest although I have met up with other people for a day or so and bumped that number up to 10 or so.
• Immediate family – six. Extended family (cousins, etc) – 12. It was only a one-day thing, but it was a blast since we were new to WDW at the time and they were vets.
• Took 14 family member down to WDW! Had a blast only a few hiccups along the way with people getting lost and missing dinning reservations but all 5 of the kids had a great time look forward to doing it again 2011
• First Lieutenant reporting for duty, SIR! LOL 23 in Oct 1999, courtesy of YOU. 🙂
• 30, for my wife’s surprise five year anniversary party at the Adventurer’s Club…
• 15 of us for a Grand Gathering celebrating 3 birthdays and 2 anniversaries. So much fun!!
• I forget how many, but in 1976 I went to Disneyland with my friend and her family and extended family after our high school graduation. So maybe, I’m guessing, 5-6 people total. Friend and I mostly went on our own once there.
• 8 others: my mom and dad, my brother and SIL, and their 4 kids
• I went to WDW for an award trip with my company, and travelled with around 30 people. (There were over 150 of us total.) There was a core group of about 10 folks that spent most of our time together in the parks, DD, etc.
• WDW: 5. Never again. DLR: 10 and for some strange reason, it was easier. Maybe b/c it’s local for me & I knew where to escape for quiet time.
• Gee, uh, I think it was 21 or so? [actually, it was 23 – see above]
• 60 something if you count all of the Tags at MFest. Seriously, about a dozen.
• Largest group I took to WDW was 6 and stayed off site since back then there was only one value resort and it was full at the time
• Haven’t done it yet, but in August, we’ve got eleven family members going to WDW from two states.
• 36 people as a family reunion over Thanksgiving a few years ago.
• We just went to WDW with 14 family members earlier in June – 11 adults & 5 kids total – whew!
• 18 is our magic number of taking people to WDW
• I took a trip with a group of 20. To be honest, it wasn’t the best trip, too many people wanting to do too many different things.
• Including me, ten. And It Shall Never Be Spoken Of Again.
• I’d answer, but it was just posted we aren’t allowed to speak of it again.
• Largest group I’ve taken a WDW vacation with is 9. We’re long over do for another one as long as its not WDW commando style.
