Disneyland rides will close for routine refurbishment throughout the year, and some have seasonal closures that happen around the same time each year to set up holiday overlays. The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland was closed for several months last year as its queue was completely reimagined and a brand-new gift shop was added outside the attraction’s exit.
Now, Disneyland has revealed when the Haunted Mansion will be closing for refurbishment ahead of the start of the Halloween celebration at Disneyland. This is when work will take place to transform the ride from its traditional version into the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay, which will remain through the duration of the Christmas celebration at Disneyland.
