Magic Key sales to resume November 4
When Disneyland last made Magic Keys available for new purchase, only the Enchant and Imagine Keys were offered. The higher-tier Inspire and Believe Keys have not been available since this summer, though Disney did include them in the most recent price increase.

Last week Disneyland announced that the Inspire and Believe Keys will go on sale once more on Tuesday, November 4, and their new, higher prices. The Enchant and Imagine Keys are still on sale “while supplies last,” and were not impacted by the last price increase.

It’s fall break season

I received some comments on social media last week asking why Disneyland was SO CROWDED, especially over the weekend. It’s a good time to remind readers that many schools in drive-in areas, including Northern California, Arizona and Utah, close for a fall break in October. These breaks can be anywhere from two days to a whole week, and they create a perfect opportunity for families to visit the Disneyland Resort. Last week and this coming week are peak fall break season, and then those crowds will drop off.
The first two weeks of November will see the lightest crowds, and that’s when the final $104 ticket days of the year are available. Many Southern California school districts take their fall break during Thanksgiving week, which contributes to the holiday crowds.
Last day to buy Disneyland tickets at re-increase prices
Our partners at Get Away Today are still honoring last month’s prices on Disneyland Resort tickets, but only through TODAY, October 20. Act today to save up to $111 per person. Visit them online or call 1-855-GET-AWAY, and be sure to mention you saw them on MousePlanet.

Revisiting the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Last week we shared that the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques at both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World had introduced a new set of package options, and enhanced the experience with a character visit with the Fairy Godmother.

There are now four “sample” packages listed online, instead of the eight packages previously offered. We weren’t sure if Disney had completely eliminated those offerings, or if they were just no longer advertised on the website.
I asked contributor Justin Rodgers to check out the new packages, and he confirmed that there are now only four options. Gone is the $20 Knight package, which means the $60 knight makeover is now the entry-level package. Princess makeovers start at $120, and go up as you add additional accessories or even a full costume.

Looking at the costume offerings, Justin noted that Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has at least one adaptive costume and wheelchair covers in stock. These costumes are designed to be easier for wheelchair-users to wear, and some have discrete access ports for tubes. It’s nice to see them available here, as the Disney Store website only carries them around Halloween and they sell out quickly.

Online bookings for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques open up to 60 days in advance.
This and That…
…The Fall 2025 Dapper Day is a month away, and the event will hold a free Holiday Market at the Grand Californian Hotel on November 15 & 16. Details at the event website.

We also recommend checking the convention calendar at the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor and Convention Bureau website. When looking at that site, remember to note both the number of people and the number of rooms resulting from each convention. A gathering of 25,000 people booking few room nights (indicating most will be driving in to the area for their meeting) can impact traffic around the resort much more than a crowd of 25,000 staying in area hotels. Of course, that second group is going to make finding a hotel room more difficult (and possibly more expensive), so it’s best to book your own room as early as possible if you see that a big convention is in town during your trip.
Tickets, Discounts and Promotions
Disneyland prices as of October 8, 2025.
Note: MousePlanet does not edit past Updates to reflect price increases; for up-to-date prices, check the most recent Disneyland Resort Update. Several current promotions offer discounted admission to the Disneyland Resort. For your convenience, we have grouped the discount offers based on the number of days the tickets are valid. Check out the category that best matches the amount of time you plan to spend at the resort, and pick the offer that works best for you. And keep those tips coming—let us know if you find a better or different offer, so we can share it with other readers!
This first section is a list of discounts on ticket-only purchases. Though it has become more common in recent years, Disneyland tickets are rarely offered at deep discounts unless you are a resident of Southern California or Northern Mexico. For residents outside that area, the best discounts available tend to be simple advance purchase discounts. If you know of any additional discounts, offers, promotions, or contests that should be listed in this section, drop us a line. Note, we are no longer listing offers from the Anaheim-Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau, as their convenience fee negates any savings.
Don’t get scammed! Never buy tickets from an unofficial or secondary outlet, such as through eBay or Craigslist. Never rent or purchase tickets from people approaching you outside the gates stating they have remaining days or leftover tickets. This practice is against the terms of use for Disneyland admission, and may result in denial of entry. It is also common for criminals to shoplift inactivated Disney theme park tickets from supermarkets to resell them. There is no way to determine if these tickets are valid until you try to use them to enter the parks. Only purchase Disney theme park tickets directly from Disney, an authorized seller, or travel agency like MousePlanet travel partner Get Away Today.

California Resident Park Hopper Ticket
The California Resident Park Hopper ticket is $249, a savings of more than 50% when compared to the new price ($526) of a 3-day park hopper ticket. The ticket is valid for all ages 3 and older, for visits between January 1 through May 21, 2026.
The new ticket goes on sale December 3, 2025. Theme park reservations are required to use this ticket, and we strongly recommend making them as soon as you purchase the ticket so you have the best selection of dates.
The best news is that there is no “fuse” on this ticket, and no blockout dates. You can space out your visits to catch the holiday decorations and entertainment at Disneyland before they end on January 7, return in February for the Lunar New Year celebration, and visit one more time to enjoy the Food & Wine Festival.
It is really important to note that everyone purchasing and/or using the ticket must be a resident of California. This means you can’t purchase them for out-of-state friends and family, and everyone over the age of 18 should be prepared to show government-issued photo ID at entry.
Find full details here.
Costco Ticket
This exclusive ticket bundles a 3-day park hopper ticket with Lightning Lane Multi Pass for $449.99, and includes a $30 Disney Dining Gift Card.
The ticket is valid through December 19, 2025, and has no blockout dates or fuse, through theme park reservations are required for each admission.
This offer was available at select regional warehouses. It seems that the tickets are no longer available for sale, but customers who already purchased the offer can still redeem it as advertised.
