Disney Vacation Club has just added new 2026 event dates to their Moonlight Magic series of complimentary, after-hours events in Walt Disney World theme parks. Eligible DVC members and their guests can attend one of these added events at EPCOT on October 15, or at Animal Kingdom on November 30 or December 22. Disney says these events are open to all eligible DVC members, even if they have already attended a Moonlight Magic event in 2026.
Here are the dates and details you need for these added events. Disney says to be on the lookout for details of the 2027 events, which usually kick off with the only Moonlight Magic event held at the Disneyland Resort.
EPCOT – October 15, 2026
Early registration for eligible DVC members with qualifying resort reservations opens on September 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time. The modifications window for these reservations has now closed, so making changes at this time will not increase your party size eligibility for the event.
General registration for eligible members opens on October 1, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom – November 30, 2026 and December 22, 2026

What makes a member or a reservation “eligible?”
Perks like Moonlight Magic events are offered as part of DVC’s Membership Extras program, which is only available to Disney Vacation Club members who purchased their ownership points directly from Disney. To be eligible for Membership Extras, DVC members must purchase at least 150 points from Disney Vacation Development, LLC – points purchased through resale venues do not count.
As for reservations, you must have booked a reservation using your Disney Vacation Club membership for a participating resort in the same state where the event is to be held, and over the date of the event. From the Disney website:
