Oogie Boogie Bash and Halloween Time Updates

June 2, 2026 by Adrienne Vincent-Phoenix

Disneyland has just released more details about fan-favorite Halloween Time activities for 2026, including on-sale dates and an entertainment update for the popular Oogie Boogie Bash.

Oogie Boogie Bash – more nights and a new street party

Oogie Boogie Bash expands to 32 public nights in 2026, one more than in 2025. There is also an exclusive “D23 Night” on Sunday September27.

New for this year is “Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party”. Yes, it’s a bit odd that an event held inside Disney California Adventure will feature entertainment based on a Disneyland attraction, but let’s roll with it for now. (Especially considering the Haunted Mansion will be in the middle of the annual Nightmare Before Christmas overlay at the time). Per Disney, “the new street party will feature multiple show-stopping moments for Madame Leota to host her spirited séance and swinging wake filled with happy haunts, ghostly dancing, and ghoulish delight, inviting you to partake in a ghastly good time that beckons all 999 ghosts.”

We were also glad to note that Villains Grove will return for 2026, as will the nighttime ride of the Headless Horseman.

2026 dates and pricing

The price for the 2026 event range from $139 to $199 per person, depending on date. This is the same price range as in 2025.

Inspire Magic Key holders will have the first chance to purchase tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash, followed by all Magic Key holders and then the general public. The on-sale dates are:

  • Inspire Magic Key holders – June 16
  • All Magic Key holders – June 17
  • General public – June 18

Tickets go on sale no earlier than 9:00 a.m. Pacific each day.

For those who want to splurge, Disney will again offer the Oogie Boogie Bash dessert party each night. Pricing and reservation details have not been released.

Starting August 30, guests can experience the Oogie Boogie Bash VIP Tour at a (much higher) extra cost.

Halloween Time at Disneyland – August 21 through October 31, 2026.

There are no major changes to Disneyland’s Halloween lineup again this year. All of the familiar seasonal favorites return for 2026, including:

  • Haunted Mansion Holiday
  • Main Street Pumpkin Festival
  • Halloween Screams “nighttime spectacular,” with fireworks on select nights
  • Disney’s Happiest Haunts guided tour
  • Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit
  • Día de los Muertos Décor near Rancho del Zocalo

Of course there will be new food, beverage and merchandise offerings throughout the entire resort for the season, and Disney will surely tease those over the next few weeks.

Halloween at Disney California Adventure – August 21 through October 31, 2026.

Disney California Adventure will also offer the familiar lineup of Halloween attractions and entertainment, including:

  • Radiator Screams overlay of Cars Land, with Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween.
  • Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark overlay each evening
  • “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” at the Disney Theater (returns August 18).
  • Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit
  • Plaza de la Familia (through November 2, 2026)
  • The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate The Musical World of Coco! (through November 2, 2026)

“World of Color – ONE” will replace “World of Color Happiness” starting August 10, and remain through the Halloween season. We hope this means “World of Color – Season of Light” will return for the winter holidays.

Of course, Paradise Garden Grill will once again offer a seasonal menu of Mexican dishes and beverages. We’re always excited to see what the chefs come up with for this annual menu reset.

Downtown Disney and Resort Hotel Dining

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit will return to Downtown Disney as well as Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. This is a fun, low-cost family activity to do on a non-park day, and with all the changes in Downtown Disney it doesn’t get too familiar.

Clarabelle’s Enchanted Halloween Dinner at Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. Bookings are available beginning July 15, 2025 on Disneyland.com. (Artist Concept/Disneyland Resort)

Two extremely popular Disney dining opportunities are back for Halloween this year. First up is the return of Clarabelle’s Enchanted Halloween Dinner at Storyteller’s Cafe. This debuted in 2025, and we’re glad to see it back. During breakfast and brunch diners will experience Mickey’s Autumn Adventures.

Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates Halloween returns to the Disneyland Hotel for another year. Pricing and reservation details are still pending.
