Disneyland released the themes, dates and details for all of the 2026 Disneyland After Dark events in late 2025, so visitors could start making their plans to attend these after-hours parties on Main Street, U.S.A.. Today the company released additional information and on-sale dates for more of the events.
Most parties run 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., and feature themed entertainment, after-hours access to select attractions, character meet-and-greets, photo opportunities, special merchandise collections and event-exclusive food and beverage offerings.
Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads are included, so you can save the pro shots of your event memories. These events also give adults an opportunity to dress to match the theme, provided they comply with the Disneyland costume policy.
As with past years, all events take place on school nights, so parents be prepared. Also, parking is not included in the admission cost.
There are five events planned for 2026:
Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite [Sold out for 2026]
A returning favorite, Sweethearts’ Nite has the most event dates of the year, running 9 nights between January 22 and February 17, 2026, with pricing based on which night you attend:
- Thursday, January 22 – $169
- Sunday, January 25 – $169
- Tuesday, January 27 – $159
- Tuesday, February 3 – $159
- Thursday, February 5 – $169
- Sunday, February 8 – $185
- Tuesday, February 10 – $185
- Thursday, February 12 – $185
- Tuesday, February 17 – $159
Highlights and updates this year include a new Celebrate Love cavalcade, and Disney Duets karaoke at the Golden Horseshoe. A new offering called “Once Upon a Dream – A Musical Journey Through the Disney Songbook” will feature live singers, and is described as, “a musical look at love and romance, which features a variety of Disney royalty and culminates in a nighttime ball beneath the stars.” New character encounters include Madrigal Sisters from “Encanto.”
Tickets for Sweethearts’ Nite go on sale in waves starting Tuesday, December 9 as follows. (All sales begin no earlier than 9:00 a.m. Pacific)

Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites [Tickets still available]
A new theme for 2026, 70 Years of Favorites takes place on just two nights:
- Tuesday, March 3 – $159
- Thursday, March 5 – $159
This event is of course tied to Disneyland’s ongoing 70th Anniversary celebration, and includes tributes to favorite characters and attractions from today and days gone by. For many, the highlight is likely to be the Videopolis Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace, a revival of the hot spot of 1980s Disneyland.
For others, the big draw may be the opportunity to see some favorite characters of the past. In a video posted to the new DisneylandResortPresident account on Instagram, Disneyland Resort President Thomas Mazloum provided a preview of who will appear at the event. We’ve included the full video below, but also snapped a screen grab of Mazloum’s checklist.
With tickets still available, Disney added new details about entertainment at the event. Fans of Disneyland musicals of the past may want to catch “Sounds of Magic” a “riverfront serenade” featuring live performances of favorite songs from “Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee,” “Frozen – Live at the Hyperion” and more.

Disneyland After Dark: Disney Channel Nite [On sale starting February 3]
Another returning event, Disney Channel Nite gives fans of the channel and its shows the opportunity to indulge in an evening of nostalgia. There are three events planned for 2026.
- Sunday, April 12 – $169
- Tuesday, April 14 – $159
- Thursday, April 16 – $159
The lineup of Disney Channel characters this year will include Penny Proud from “The Proud Family,” who make her Disneyland Resort debut. Additional entertainment announced for the event includes a “High School Musical – ZOMBIES Pep Rally,” “DescenDANCE” along the Rivers of America and “Camp Rock Sing-Along” at the Golden Horseshoe. There are also special menu items, including Loaded Dino Nuggies at the Stage Door Cafe, and a new Ice Cream “Naco.”

Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite [On sale starting February 3]
A fan favorite, Star Wars Nite returns for just four evenings in 2026:
- Tuesday, April 28 – $174
- Thursday, April 30 – $174
- Monday, May 4 – $189
- Wednesday, May 6 – $174
This event offers a variety of live entertainment and character encounters, including “The March of the First Order” in Tomorrowland; Darth Maul at Tomorrowland Terrace; appearances by Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes (also known as the Cantina Band).
Of course, there will be themed food and special event merchandise for Star Wars fans to purchase.

Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite
The final event of 2026, Pride Nite returns for the fourth year, and will be held on two evenings:
- Tuesday, June 16
- Thursday, June 18
The 2023 debut of Pride Nite marked the first official Disney event in support of the LGBTQIA+ community in the domestic theme parks.
Disney has not released on-sale dates or pricing for this final event, so stay tuned.
