It wasn’t that long ago that Disneyland Magic Keys were so in-demand that the company would periodically suspend sales on new annual passports. Disney raised the price of the two top-tier passes last October, and in January 2026 added a new tier.
Now the company is offering Magic Key holders an unheard-of bonus to renew their passes for another year.

Current Magic Key holders who renew their pass on time will receive a Disney Dining Card, up to a $100 value. The value of the card varies based on Magic Key tier renewal purchased:
- Inspire Key — $100
- Believe Key — $75
- Explore Key — $50
- Imagine Key — $25
This offer went into effect today, and is valid through May 26, 2027, though the terms and conditions state the offer is “subject to availability, change or cancellation without notice.” Note that the gift card is based on the renewal tier – if you currently have an Inspire Key and downgrade to an Imagine Key at renewal, you will receive the $25 gift card.

Currently, Disneyland Magic Keys are eligible for renewal up to 30 days prior to their expiration date. Passes cannot be renewed after the expiration date. This offer is not available on newly-purchased Magic Keys. The Enchant Key has been discontinued, and Magic Key holders with that level pass will need to renew to a different pass before their expiration date.
Disney says the promotional Dining Card will be emailed within 72 hours after renewal to the email address provided at renewal, and that the value of Disney Dining Card may not be applied toward the renewal. If you renew multiple passes at the same time, each person will receive their own gift card at the email address associated with their account.
While we’ve never seen an offer exactly like this before, Disneyland had at times offered a discounted renewal price for Annual Passports. We also don’t know if this offer signals that Disneyland has finally started to see price resistance to the Magic Keys, and whether this will impact if, and by how much, prices go up during the next round of increases.
Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can still save up to 15% when renewing their Annual Pass for the Florida resort. As such, we don’t expect to see a similar offer for Walt Disney World, but anything is possible.
