Tier Zero Days are Back

Disneyland tickets are at their lowest regular prices this month, offering you a chance to take in the Halloween Time atmosphere for less if you can visit on a weekday.
Disneyland’s tier-based pricing structure means that ticket prices vary by day, with Tier 0 dates being the least expensive days to visit ($104), and Tier 6 days the most expensive ($224). That difference is significant, and will only become more pronounced after an expected ticket price hike in October.
Though Disneyland did not release fall ticket offer this year, the resort did increase the number of Tier 0 days offered in 2026 by more than 50%. There are 10 Tier 0 days this month, starting this Tuesday.

The majority of October days are Tier 3 and higher until Halloween weekend. Then there are 8 more Tier 0 days scheduled for November, the lowest prices you’ll see for the remainder of 2026.
The Anzellans are coming from D23 to Disneyland

Hat tip to WDW News Today for reporting that the Droid Depot shop inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland is making room for the arrival of a trio of Anzellans first introduced to the public at last month’s D23: The Ultimate Fan Event.

These characters are best known from their appearances in the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, and the Star Wars film The Mandalorian and Grogu. The tiny mechanics were a highlight of the Walt Disney Imagineering pavillion at the recent D23 event, where the Anzellan Creature Workshop featured a trio of audio-animatronic figures who appeared to interact with one another and with observers.
WDW News Today says a workbench display has been installed inside the Droid Depot that contains many of the same elements as the workshop seen at D23, and has spaces for three characters. We don’t have any official word from Disney as to when these figures may make their Disneyland debut.

The Droid Depot is already a somewhat busy store, with interactive workstations where customers assemble and customize their own Droids. If the Anzallans are as popular at Disneyland as they were at D23, expect that store to become even more crowded as fans flock to meet the tiny mechanics.

Oogie Boogie Bash almost sold out

This is our final Oogie Boogie Update for the year, as the event has nearly sold out for the 2026 run. At press time, tickets are still available for the event on Tuesday, September 8, the last remaining public event of the lineup. Tickets are also still available to the D23-exclusive event on Sunday, September 27, but you must be a D23 Gold member to purchase.
If you are still seeking tickets for one of the sold-out nights, you can book the Oogie Boogie Bash VIP Tour. This experience includes admission to the event for up to 8 guests, expedited entrance to attractions and entertainment during the event, a VIP lounge experience, and added perks and amenities. 2026 tours start at $7500; call (714) 300-7710 for details.
Magic Key Missed Keepsakes Giveaway event
We noted in June that Disneyland had launched a promotion that many Magic Key holders were unable to experience because of the summer blockout period. That wasn’t the only giveaway over the summer, but with the blockouts about to lift after the Labor Day holiday, Disneyland is giving Magic Key holders a second chance to pick up two keepsakes they may have missed.

The Missed Keepsakes Giveaway event runs select days September 14 through 26. Magic Key holders can receive the Disney California Adventure Park Billboard Magnet Set and/or the Magic Key License Plate Frame if they have not already collected one.
To get the promo item, Magic Key holders must have a theme park reservation for the distribution date, and enter a virtual queue. Here are the details direct from the Magic Key website.

Reservations open for holiday experiences in Downtown Disney
Naples Ristorante e Bar in Downtown Disney is celebrating 25 years at the Disneyland Resort. This fall the restaurant is offering two classic holiday events, and reservations are open now.

Pumpkins and Pancakes returns on three Sundays in October. The event includes a family-style brunch; pumpkin picking and decorating activity; a photo opportunity and treats to take home. Everyone can enjoy apple cider and hot cocoa, and there are bottomless mimosas for those 21 and older.
Tickets start at $75 per adult and $39 per child ages 3 to 10, depending on the date selected. Children 2 and under are free, but must be counted in the party size. Registration is now open—book online via the Patina Group website.

In November and December, you can enjoy Breakfast with Santa at Naples. The event includes family-style breakfast, live carolers, a photo opportunity with Santa Claus, and a personalized stocking and stuffed animal for each child 10 and under.
Brunch reservations are available between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 on select dates starting November 28. Tickets start at $110 per adult and $55 per child ages 3 to 10, depending on the date selected. Children 2 and under are free, but must be counted in the party size. Registration is now open—book online via the Patina Group website.

We do not yet have dates for the extremely popular Gingerbread Workshops at Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio. Led by Executive Chef Darrin Finkel, these events sell out every year. We will share any information as we have it.
This and That

…To correct an error from last week’s Update: while the Wondrous Journeys fireworks show has wrapped up the 2026 season, the Tapestry of Happiness projection show continues well beyond the end of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration. The show appears on the schedule through mid-October, which is as far ahead as the calendar is currently published. We expect the show will likely continue until it is replaced by the “it’s a small world” Holiday projection show in November.
…At press time all dates were still available for the Anaheim resident ticket offer. The one-day, one-park ticket offers admission to either Disneyland or Disney California Adventure for just $71 per person, ages 3 and older, for visits from July 20 through October 8, 2026. You can find all details, including residency requirements, at this link.
…At press time, all four tiers of Magic Key passes are still available for new purchase and renewal.

- The Holidays at Disneyland – November 13, 2026 through January 6, 2027.
- “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular – returns to Disneyland starting November 13, 2026.
- “A Christmas Fantasy Parade” – returns to Disneyland starting November 13, 2026.
We also recommend checking the convention calendar at the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor and Convention Bureau website. When looking at that site, remember to note both the number of people and the number of rooms resulting from each convention. A gathering of 25,000 people booking few room nights (indicating most will be driving in to the area for their meeting) can impact traffic around the resort much more than a crowd of 25,000 staying in area hotels. Of course, that second group is going to make finding a hotel room more difficult (and possibly more expensive), so it’s best to book your own room as early as possible if you see that a big convention is in town during your trip.
Tickets, Discounts and Promotions
Disneyland prices as of October 8, 2025.
Note: MousePlanet does not edit past Updates to reflect price increases; for up-to-date prices, check the most recent Disneyland Resort Update. Several current promotions offer discounted admission to the Disneyland Resort. For your convenience, we have grouped the discount offers based on the number of days the tickets are valid. Check out the category that best matches the amount of time you plan to spend at the resort, and pick the offer that works best for you. And keep those tips coming—let us know if you find a better or different offer, so we can share it with other readers!
This first section is a list of discounts on ticket-only purchases. Though it has become more common in recent years, Disneyland tickets are rarely offered at deep discounts unless you are a resident of Southern California or Northern Mexico. For residents outside that area, the best discounts available tend to be simple advance purchase discounts. If you know of any additional discounts, offers, promotions, or contests that should be listed in this section, drop us a line. Note, we are no longer listing offers from the Anaheim-Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau, as their convenience fee negates any savings.
Don’t get scammed! Never buy tickets from an unofficial or secondary outlet, such as through eBay or Craigslist. Never rent or purchase tickets from people approaching you outside the gates stating they have remaining days or leftover tickets. This practice is against the terms of use for Disneyland admission, and may result in denial of entry. It is also common for criminals to shoplift inactivated Disney theme park tickets from supermarkets to resell them. There is no way to determine if these tickets are valid until you try to use them to enter the parks. Only purchase Disney theme park tickets directly from Disney, an authorized seller, or travel agency like MousePlanet travel partner Get Away Today.

| One Day – Tier 3 | $169 | $159 | $90 |
| One Day – Tier 4 | $184 | $174 | $90 |
| One Day – Tier 5 | $199 | $189 | $100 |

Anaheim Resident Ticket Offer
Anaheim residents can visit Disneyland during the final weeks of the “Celebrate Happy” promotion or the first weeks of Halloween Time for as little as $71 with an offer released in honor of Disneyland’s 71st anniversary.
The Anaheim Resident Ticket Offer is on sale now, and is valid for visits from July 20 through October 8, 2026. The one-day, one-park ticket offers admission to either Disneyland or Disney California Adventure for just $71 per person, ages 3 and older. You can upgrade this ticket to a one-day park-hopper ticket for $33 more, and also add Lightning Lane Multi Pass for an additional fee.
The catch is that you need to be a resident of the city of Anaheim to take advantage of this offer. Tickets may be purchased online starting July 16. Your payment method must have an Anaheim address in zip codes 92801 through 92809, 92812, 92814 through 92817, 92825, 92850 and 92899.
We also want to note that the terms and conditions state, “Sales may be paused or terminated at any time.” In 2024, Disney ended sales of the Anaheim resident ticket two weeks prior to the official end of the promotion, so we recommend purchasing the tickets as early as you can to avoid disappointment.
Eligible residents can purchase up to eight (8) tickets per person, per day, but each person who uses a ticket must show proof of residency in an eligible zip code. An Anaheim resident is not permitted to purchase tickets on behalf of others who are not Anaheim residents. This means everyone in your party (18 and older) should come prepared to show proof of residency in the eligible ZIP codes to use this promotional offer.
D23 Gold Member Discount
D23 Gold Members can save 5% off the gate price when they purchase one of these ticket options using a new exclusive offer available on the D23 website:
- Standard Theme Park Ticket, One Day Park Hopper Ticket
- Standard Theme Park Ticket, Multi-Day Park Hopper Ticket
- Standard Theme Park Ticket, Multi-Day One Park Per Day Ticket
Gold members can also get 5% off the Lightning Lane add-on for any Disneyland tickets purchased through this offer.
The offer expires December 30, 2026. One-day tickets must be used by December 31, 2026. Multi-day tickets must be used within 13 days of first use or by January 12, 2027, whichever occurs first. Theme park reservations are required.
We should note that, as with most discounts, this offer may be canceled or changed at any time. If you’re looking to take advantage of this offer, it’s probably a good idea to purchase tickets as soon as your travel plans are confirmed, and definitely before the expected ticket price increase in October.
Note: this offer is valid only for D23 Gold Members. D23 General Members are not eligible. Visit the D23 website for a list of other discounts available to D23 Gold and General members at the Disneyland Resort.
